Question: Does the external thread of Rotary shaft right-hand thread?

Answer: It is right-hand thread.
You can also input code “PLM, QLM” at additional processing and options part for product with left-hand external thread.

Question: Dimension tolerance h7 and g6 of Rotary shaft were polished by which grinding method?

Answer: Centerless grinding.

Question: Do you offer shaft or pole with hexagonal hole bored?

Answer: Yes.
If you want to select product with hexagonal hole bored, please input alterations code ”H” at ”shape for the left tip of shaft” and “shape for the right tip of shaft” in Rotary Shafts - End Shape Selectable

Question: Is it possible to process D-Cut for the whole product?

Answer: It is possible for some product, depending on L-dimension.

Question: Do the B-dimension and S-dimension of external thread included the incomplete thread part?

Answer: No.
Effective length of B-dimension and S-dimension are guarantee value for length.

Question: When purchasing multiple rotating shafts, what is the variation of accuracy for L-dimension?

Answer: Variation of accuracy is not guaranteed.
In addition, if you want to suppress the variation, please input alterations code "LKC" to change the dimension tolerance of L-dimension to be suppressed within the specified dimension tolerance.

Question: What is hardness of SUS304 and S45C equivalent material?

Answer: Hardness of S45C equivalent material is 20～25HRC, and hardness of SUS304is 28HRC.

Answer: Yes.
S45C material without surface treatment options have been added into each Rotary shaft since 2016.

Question: When did the surface treatment take place? Before or after processing?

Answer: After processing.

Question: If multiple alteration were specified at the same time, will it cause any effect to processing error?

Answer: Yes.
After processing all specified alteration, processing position error might be occurred approximately ±2°

Question: What is R angle for processing keyway?

Answer: 1/2 of groove width (b-dimension)

Question: Can I specify the position for processing keyway (KC, WKC, KZ, PP, QQ, PV, QV) to be 0mm from the end face?

Answer: Yes.
But when keyway start from the distance within 1 mm from the end, R angle is not applicable.

Question: Can I specify the position for set screw flat (FC, WFC, PFC, QFC) or chamfering both end (SFC) at the end face?

Answer: Yes.

Question: Can I specify D chamfer (CD) only one end?

Answer: No.
This alteration must be applied at both ends.

Question: Can I change the effective length and the depth of inner thread?

Answer: Yes.
Inner thread can be selected between “MD” and “ND”, and effective length will equal to M (N) ×3.

Question: What is effective length and the depth of inner thread?

Answer: Depth of inner thread is equal to M (N) ×2
If MD (ND) alteration specified, it will equal to MD (ND) ×3
