They are also called as portable grinders. Electric straight grinders are lightweight and compact, so they are suitable for removing weld beads and working in locations with an angle that are difficult to grind. They are collet chuck types where a grinding wheel at the tip is attached. Those with a chuck capacity of 6 mm are widely used. Using cordless types makes handling when grinding curved surfaces and details easy. Double insulation type models do not need an earth leakage circuit breaker installed or use of earth, so work can start easily.
