For example, WA is for hardened steel and high-speed steel, GC is for stone, ceramic, glass, and carbide, and A is for general steel and carbon steel materials. Tips are of various shapes including cylindrical, spherical, umbrella-shaped, and tapered, and a wide selection is available depending on the machining application. And mounted points are color-coded by the hardness of the grinding wheel and by grit size. The grinding wheel material must be selected according to the material to be ground.
