The structure is simple, so maintenance is easy, and durability is high, so they are often used for industrial purposes. Radiation thermometers can measure without contacting the object to measure by radiating infrared rays. Remote thermometers measure temperature of distant objects, and analog and digital types can be selected. The temperature range that can be measured is determined by the measuring equipment, so the product must be selected according to its purpose.

Then, the thermopile converts the incoming Infrared radiation into an electrical signal that is then displayed as digital units of temperature.
