· These composite-type connectors include both signal (2.2 A) and power (5.7 A) internal circuits in the same connectors. · Contact with the socket housing is maintained via a housing lance and an internal retainer contained in the housing. This double locking structure, which locks at two locations, reliably prevents loss of contact due to vibration or pulling.
· The retainer's structure ensures that a contact cannot be set into the locking position unless it is completely inserted. This makes it possible to detect partial insertion of contacts.
[Low insertion force structure with easy insertion and extraction]
· A low insertion force type structure requiring 70 N or less of force per socket housing to achieve insertion makes insertion and extraction easy.
[Tin and gold plating are available for the contact finish]
· The standard finish for contacts is tin plating. Gold plating is also available for 135-pin pin headers, offering a higher level of contact reliability.
[Misconfiguration-prevention types also available]
· Pin headers (70-pin and 135-pin versions) and socket housings come in standard types as well as types with different mating part conformations in order to prevent incorrect configuration. Use of these types prevents incorrect fitting when two different pin headers with pins in the same positions are used next to each other.
· Crimping enables easy connection.
