Applications

Casters are intended to make movement and transport easier when attached to transport devices or machines, and are only for indoor or in-facility use.
When making a selection, choose a suitable product based on application and usage requirements, mount properly, and observe the set conditions.

Regarding speed:

Usage speeds are when used intermittently at regular temperatures, on an even floor surface at walking speed or below.
(Avoid continuous usage that would generate heat.)
Wheel diameter 75 mm or less········Operating speed 2 km/h or less.
100 mm or less········4 km/h or less.

Environment

Normally, casters are intended to be used indoors at normal temperatures.
Please refrain from using it in special environments affected by high or low temperatures, high humidity, acids, alkali, salts, solvents, oil, sea water, chemicals, etc. The deterioration of the product may be progressed.
If such usage is necessary, suitable fittings, wheels and grease are required for each application. Please note that it may cause contamination on the floor depending on the materials.

Appropriate allowable load

Allowable load indicates the limit of load that is easy to move, safe and can be used for a long time when transporting on an even floor surface by humans. Please select the caster with the allowable load that is appropriate based on the estimate of the total load to be loaded. Please note that, even when using 4 pcs., it is common to estimate the maximum total load by multiplying the allowable load by 0.8 as shown in the following formula. Maximum total load when using 4 casters = allowable load per caster × 4 × 0.8
* When using products of different sizes together, please calculate the maximum working load based on the allowable load on the casters on the low load side.
* With the revision of the measurement law, the weight kg must be clearly distinguished into the mass kg and the force kg. The force indication is changed to daN (Deca Newton). 1 daN = 10 N ≒ 1.02 kgf (1 kgf ≒ 9.8 N = 0.98 daN) (Conversion factor 9.8 to 9.80665)

Inspection/maintenance and replacement

To prevent usage accidents and to extend the life of the product, please perform regular inspection and maintenance.
For normal inspection, Please check that the caster mounting part is completely tightened, that the casters are not damaged or cracked, that the wheel bearings and shafts are tightened, and that the tires are not damaged, cracked or worn. In addition, if there is looseness or abnormality in the coupling of mounting section and wheel section, please immediately tighten it.
If there is deterioration or breakage, etc., of the product, please replace it immediately. (Do not replace parts only.)
Please immediately remove any contaminant if it is caught in the turning sections or wheel sections. It may cause defects in turning and rotation.
